Flashback to the 80's!!!!

Keith and I had the honor of being invited to one of the best parties of the year. It was a birthday bash thrown in honor of trisha (in the purple dress). Of course as you can see it was 80's themed and it was sooooooooooooooooo much fun. It was great seeing people going all out with there costumes. We had everything from madonna, pee wee herman, miami vice, darth vader you name it we had it. The tunes were great seeing as we had a authentic dj from the 80's so of course we danced to tunes like footloose and thriller....even ghost busters!!!! So as you can see keith went as FLAVOR FLAV of public enemy #1 i must say he was very creative and of course had the typical eighties look for the women with the colors and side ways ponytail. It was alot of fun even though keith and i got picked on for being the 2nd and 3rd youngest person in the room, we kept getting asked if we were born in the eighties!!! I didn't feel bad until we had to trivia contest, they had 20 questions posted around the building and the person/couple who got the most correct won prizes. Well after keith and i made our rounds we only knew the answer to 2!!! Which i would say was a true statement of our age. All in all we had a great time and met some really amazing people and we can not wait until the next party!

More pics of the Family

Spending time with the family..

Going back home to savannah was so much fun. I missed being around my family, especially the kids. Shakira and Maniyah have gotten alot bigger and niyah can now hold a conversation and she is the spunkiest little girl i have ever met. I must say niyah and kira are like my daughters so it is hard being away. But we made the most of the time we had together. I pulled all nighters with my mom trying to beat a zombie game, and i got to color and play with niyah. Unfortunately i have to admit i got my but kicked in uno and air hockey by kira. All in all it was a good trip but six days was not nearly enough time.

Shakira's 7th birthday...

I was blessed enough to be able to make it back for my niece Kira's 7th birthday. I have never missed one of her bdays yet and if i missed this one she would have been very upset. So it was a pretty nice present for the both of us being able to go back home and see everyone and take part in her birtday. Alot of the family turned out for the party at Chuck E. Cheese. I have a few pics of my mom and my aunt, sherelle and shocarra, kira and my sister Metri, my other niece Maniyah and my cousin bryanna. It seems like kira has grown up soooooooooooooo fast, one day she is just learning to walk the next day she's talking about what she boots she wants to wear and hair and make-up. I truly believe she is a fourteen year old stuck in a seven year old body!

Our trip to San Franscisco

It seemed that there was a show happening everywhere you went in the city. We walked upon a group covered completely in silver it was pretty funny to see they never spoke but they showed us what it would be like if robots could dance! We also got to stop at the famous Ghiradelli Chcholate Shop, the chocholates were really good but a bit to pricey for our taste.

More of San Fran...

Seeing San Fran was alot of fun especially getting to spend time with the family. We took a tour that hit all the hot spots of the city. We got to take a ferry across to a little island called sausalito, we got to see alkatraz on the way there, the painted ladies which you see on the beginning of full house. In addition to seeing the painted ladies we go to see lombard street, which is this crooked zig zagged street and it's quite funny seeing the cars travel down them. Of course we could not leave San Fran without riding the trolley, which we found is purely a tourist thing, it costs a whopping five bucks, it is easier for locals to carch the f-train. We also got a quick glimpse of chinatown and a few other spots. All in all it was a great trip, and i can't wait to show my mom the sights this summer.

San Franscisco...

I tried and tried getting the photos up for San Fran a little while back but the website would not let me. After that i got a little busy since school has started back for me this month. But i am attempting again to get the golden gate pics up.

Hike at Big Sur

After driving up the beautiful coastline we came upon one of the parks at Big Sur and decided to take a hike. It was a twenty mintue hike through the beautiful red woods to see a natural water fall. It was really cool to take in the fresh air and nature on a beautiful day.

View of Coastline to the Big Sur...

The Big Sur is absolutely one of the most beautiful sights i have ever seen. It reminds me of hawaii, with the crashing waves and the beautiful mountains.
