More Christmas photos....

Christmas Day

On Christmas morning we decided to take a whale watching tour here in Monterey. It was very cold but beautiful out there in the pacific ocean. Unfortunately we did not see any whales, but we got to see sea lions, two different types of dolphins, and a weird looking fish that floats on its side. Everyone enjoyed there gifts and had a great time.

Christmas Day with the parents!!

Okay we are finally updating the website. We could not do it early because Keith and I were so busy with school and finals we did not have time to do anything else. So this Christmas break Mark and Carol came up to visit us and we were able to see some of the beautiful sites monterey has to offer. We went up to the Sequoia National Forest which was about three and a half hours away. It really felt like Christmas with the snow. We had lots of fun seeing the huge trees and playing uno with the parents by the fire. ALl in all it was a very fun trip, the sequoia trees were absolutely breath taking. I think Mark enjoyed them the most seeing as he almost leaped out of a moving vehicle to get a shot of the first redwood trees. We also were held hostage at a hotel on the way to the largest tree in the sequoia forest, they locked the gates to the roads and refused to let us out. It was a very interesting and eventful two days up in the sequoia forest and we are really happy went.
