Status on our new home..

They have finally started working on our new home. I am sooooooooooo excited about it. We have never had a home our own together. It will be nice not having to rent anymore and knowing that we are the only family that has been in the house. Hopefully it will be ready in time.

These pics are from the very first visit with aunt sherri and uncle chip after there big move. We were so excited to have them near by. It was huge because keith hadnt seen Griffin since our wedding! And it was our first time seeing baby gram. The cowgirl pics were taken in walmart. I thought she looked sooo cute in her hat.

I think these pics turned out great, especially for an iphone. Keith looks like he has his hands full. I asked him what did he think? Could he handle another one and sarai? He was like NO! lol She actually did really well with him and the baby. As long as one of us had our hands free. She was a little more needy with me when I held gram, but all in all she did better than expected. Suffice to say i dont think anyone is ready for another baby. We will just continue to spoil sarai and get out our baby cravings with gram.

Sarai absolutely loved spending time with her papa. I think she believes he is the best form of entertainment. She talks about him pretty much every other day and is always looking for him to come in the door. SHe loves his juggling act. I think it runs in the family because keith does juggling acts for her too. I on the other hand am to clumsy and uncoordinated to even attempt to juggle. lol

Sarai got this for Christmas. Although i think it was a present for the entire house. Everyone including the pets are in that tiny tiny house a few times a week!

Sarai really loved Christmas this year. We had daddy home and she was able to participate. She helped decorate the tree and she was able to open up presents on her own. This was her victory dance after we finished.

Irresistible this face is so cute. How can you say no? Thats why she is spoiled and thinks shes a princess!

Sarai is obsessed with having long hair! She likes to take my scarf and put it on her head and pretend its her real hair. She swings it around and runs her fingers through it. She will keep it on for about thirty minutes and she gets so upset when it falls off. Its really funny, her hair has gotten alot longer its actually to her shoulder blades but when it dries it curls up tight.

Sarai's Birthday/ Thanksgiving

One of Sarai's Bday gifts we gave to her early. She really loves it because you are to draw on it with erasable marker. And she loves looking at the numbers and letters around the edges of the table.

Sarai finally turned two (shes going on 16!). It was so nice having Keith home for her birthday and have his family come in to visit. It was great that sarai's birthday fell on thanksgiving so that everyone had time off. We did a low-key birthday at home after thanksgiving dinner. Sarai was in a bit of a mood because we did the cake right after she woke up from her nap. But by the time we got to the presents she had cheered up considerably!

Sara's Birthday/Thanksgiving 2

It was nice having all the family there for Sarai's birthday. It worked out that her birthday fell on Thanksgiving day, so everyone was able to come out and help us celebrate.

One of Sarai's birthday presents. She loves playing in her kitchen. Its one of the first things she wants to do when she comes home from school. We had to teach her the art of pretend. She had been trying to chew on the plastic food. Now for the most part she has gotten the hang of pretending lol.

I was so happy to have keith home for sarai's birthday. He missed her first birthday. So we were pretty happy that he could be here this year. It was really fun because sarai understood what birthday meant and she could open her presents on her own.

New Home

We are having our new home build. I am excited about it, we have been renting since we got married. It will be nice to settle down and have our own home built from the ground up.

This will be the view from our backyard.

This is another house that is being built which will be pretty similar to our house. The difference is that we will have some stone picked out to go in the front of the house.
