Merry Christmas

Kira's bday

We went to this really cool japanese restaraunt for kira's 8th bday which we celebrated a little early. It was really cool they all came out and sang happy bday to her with the traditional japanese drums, and the whole restaraunt got involved. Kira of course was a little embarrassed but i think she enjoyed it. I think the fun part for her was having the guy cook right in front of us and perform all kinds of tricks with the fire. ALthough she did not like the food i think she had a great time that nite.

Before basic training brian talked keith into doing a buzz cut in preparation, it was hilarious keith left him a piece in the front and a piece in the back!

Time with daddy...

As everyone knows Sarai has her daddy wrapped around her finger. Since day one he has took part in every aspect of everything diapers, shots, doctors appointments, burping, late night feedings etc. The thing that surprises me is how much he is into brushing her hair. From day one he has been concerned with her hair, i would say he brushes it about 5-6 times a day to get it "just right". Its the cutest thing i have ever seen. It is definitely good to know i wont be tackling her hair by myself!

First bath...

Sarai finally got her first bath at home and she did not like it! Keith was the bold one to handle our slippery bundle, it was a bit of a struggle but we got it done. Eventually she started to like the warm water, especially when getting her hair washed.

First family visitors...

It was soooooooooooo nice to have my mom and kira come visit us. Especially after the scare we had during sarai's birth its nice to have family around to comfort you. Also it was awesome having my mom's southern cooking again. I was really happy that sarai got to meet some of her family members, kira and my mom just could not get enough of her. We also got to celebrate christmas and kira's birthday a little early. We had lots of fun and it was sarai's first christmas!!!!
